Happy Valentines to this wonderful woman that supports me in my adventures and joins me on most of them! 💃🕺🏻🌺
Reminiscing over the natural beauty of @arkansas “The Natural State”. Soon to be known as “The MTB State”. 🕺🏻
After spending the weekend in @cityofbellavista this past weekend we fell in love. Today we put in an offer on a property that backs up to the Blowing Springs loop and the Back 40. Amazing trails literally in your backyard, year round riding, and a low cost of living are a few of the reasons we decided to pull the trigger. We love to be mobile, but this will be a great home base for when we aren’t traveling. Anyone else stoked on NW Arkansas cycling community and infrastructure?
Hailing all the way from #wydaho @ashalexander1361 and I met up in NW Arkansas to see what all the hype was about.
In honor of Edward Abbey’s birthday. Here are some Abbey-esque thoughts from today’s ride. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ This is my favorite gravel road. Well it use to be until they started drilling a new oil well. This once solitary country road is now thriving with industry. Big trucks, little trucks, useless trucks, and truck trucks. Thank God for progress. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ (Swipe)⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Nothing but private land and cows as far as the eye can see. Texas is the second largest state, but they rank 45th in percentage of public land. Spoiler alert: it’s less than 5% private land. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ (swipe)⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Of course you will need locks. Lots of locks. And barbed wire fences and gates too. There that’s better. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ (swipe)⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ A story as old as time. No Trespassing signs outnumber bibles in this God fearing state. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ “No comment” ~ Edward Abbey
It’s official. This spring I’ll be headed back to @bigbendranchsp with @jerodfoster and his band of Adventure Media bandits. I am more than stoked to have been extended an invitation to participate on this adventure. ⁣ ⁣ If you haven’t listened to episode 3 of the podcast check it out (link in profile). Jerod is a avid mountain biker, exceptional photographer, and a wild man that is taking his college students bikepacking in #bbrsp #respect⁣ ⁣ Stay tuned...I feel a podcast brewing🧙🏻‍♂️
