The After Party is back with a bang! When I went to Stillwater recently I asked around for a rad female that would make a great guest. Everyone said Clare Pannicia!! It was obvious why once I met her. She is one of those people that IS the party and I would are someone to be in a bad mood around her. We had a lot of fun recording this episode and when you tune in you’ll know why this is the perfect After Party episode!
Speaking of parties, Clare is the creator of The Truffle Shuffle, which is basically a dirt crit / bike party. I had serious fomo watching everyone while I was sitting at home watching from instagram. I saw costumes, beer, and lots of happy cyclist, which are 3 of my favorite things. Luckily she announce on this episode that they will be hosting a fall Truffle Shuffle on Nov. 7th and I plan to be there!
One of the cool things I learned about Clare was how new she is to gravel riding and the cycling community. If my math is right, she got her first gravel bike 9 months before starting her own Bike “race”! It just goes to show that this community embraces people doing cool things, no matter how long you’ve been a member, what bike you ride, etc. Well done Clare!!
